For over 25 years Krontec GmbH has manufactured and supplied high-quality and precision engineered CNC machine components and hose systems, ranging from single components to complete projects.

Krontec manufactures components across all areas of motorsport including LMP, F1, GT3, WTC, WRC, DTM and NASCAR. It has also worked alongside many OEM and private teams, as well as companies involved in the aerospace and medical sectors.

The business also specialises in the design and manufacture of fluid system components and assemblies for the most demanding applications across brake, fuel, pneumatic, hydraulic, water and fluid transfer. With the company’s full range of flexible and rigid tube systems – using its range of aerospace and custom designed hoses – Krontec is able to offer the best solution for individual customer applications in PTFE, rubber, PEEK, stainless steel and titanium, braided with Kevlar, Nomex, PEEK and stainless steel.

Dedicated engineers use Pro-Engineer and Catia V5 CAD systems to support Krontec’s customers from design to manufacture. It also is able to supply confidential 3D models and drawings for client approval. The latest advances in CAD/ CAM technology have enabled Krontec to react quickly to the ever changing demands of motorsport and aerospace, where delivery time is crucial.

The company is built on innovation, quality and reliability, with its dedicated QA department always striving to keep ahead of customer needs and requirements. As a result, Krontec operates to ISO 9001:2008 standards for the design, production and sales of its light hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as its special turned and milled parts for motor racing and medical engineering.

The company has also obtained EN 9100:2009 standards for the manufacturing and sales of prototype parts, multi-axis turned and milled parts for hydraulic and pneumatic applications, and small batch series for the aerospace industry.

Krontec is proud to have full traceability for all its machined components and offers laser marking of all parts as required.

All hose assemblies are 100% tested, marked if required and documented. Krontec’s work in motorsport has seen it design and manufacture multiple components that have been used in all forms of motorsport, such as its air-jack system, which is one of the lightest and fastest acting on the grid, to steering wheel quick-release coupling, dry-break coupling for all fluids, co-axial refuelling couplings and FIA approved PRV and NRV valves.
