Racelogic launches the VBOX Touch
Racelogic has launched its most versatile data logger yet, named the VBOX Touch.
VBOX Touch sees the start of an exciting new era at the business, whereby different applications can be run on the same hardware.
Racelogic will be releasing a number of different scripts covering many diverse types of test, enabling users to create their own applications to solve specific testing needs.
Featuring a 4.3” colour touchscreen, 10 Hz GPS receiver and the ability to run multiple applications on the same hardware, the VBOX Touch has a user-friendly interface. It is ideal for carrying out performance tests such as acceleration and deceleration, using one of the pre-configured tests or by configuring users own. The VBOX Touch can also be used as a speedometer or lap timer and provides accurate logging of performance, speed and position data.
Users can instantly see test results on the large, daylight readable touchscreen. To analyse data in more detail, there are dedicated plugins and visual aids such as charts, graphs and tables in VBOX Test Suite; a user-friendly, intuitive data analysis software.
Designed around a new philosophy from Racelogic to make access to the latest testing applications as quick, flexible and easy as possible, VBOX Touch applications are written in Python script. There will be a number of different scripts covering many diverse types of tests available soon, enabling users to create their own applications to solve specific testing needs.
