Entries now open for the RACE TECH Spirit of Formula Student Award 2019

16 May 2019

RACE TECH is launching The Spirit of Formula Student Award 2019 and is inviting Formula Student teams to submit their applications.

The awards, now in its 4th year, encapsulates the story of blood, sweat and tears behind each Formula Student team’s journey.

The application should be in the form of a diary, blogs, videos or photos. It can either be a one-of submission or a continuous journey that RACE TECH and the motorsport industry follow with you.

The more information the better to help the panel decide. These will be uploaded on to the RACE TECH website and shared across all the RACE TECH social media platforms which will also contribute towards each team’s business and communication efforts.

The winning team will have their story published in RACE TECH magazine and will also be offered the opportunity to be present at the RACE TECH World Motorsport Symposium where they will meet key industry figures.

All applications will be reviewed by a judging panel from RACE TECH magazine and the winning team will be announced at the Formula Student awards evening on Saturday 20 July 2019.

The judging process will take place before and also at the actual Formula Student event Rules and eligibility Applications are open to all Class 1 or Class 2 teams who are competing in the Formula Student UK competition in 2019. All applications must be provided in English.

Last year, the award was presented to the NUST (National University of Science and Technology) Team AUJ from Pakistan, which was cheered with a standing ovation in the award ceremony for being the first ever all-girl team in the Formula Student UK’s history.
