Alfa Romeo Racing promotes Jan Monchaux to Technical Director
Alfa Romeo Racing has promoted Head of Aerodynamics, Jan Monchaux, to Technical Director as Simone Resta leaves after one year in the job.
Monchaux will start from August 1 and will follow Resta’s departure at the end of this month. Resta is understood to be re-joining his ex-employer, Ferrari which he left a year ago.
Monchaux, a 41 year-old French national, has worked in motorsport for over 10 years.

Monchaux, new Technical Director of Alfa Romeo Racing: “I am very excited about this new challenge and I am looking forward to starting in my new position. Alfa Romeo Racing was previously known as Sauber but rebranded in February this year.
