3 February 2017

“Step by step, we are putting the team together for the 2017 season,” said deputy managing director of Alpine, Bernard Ollivier.

The team won the legendary 24 hour race in 2016 and also wrapped up both the Teams’ and Drivers’ LMP2 World Championships however such success hasn’t warranted an increase in Alpine’s WEC customer base.

Of the remaining 23 LMP2 entries, the Oreca 07 makes up 13 spots, Ligier’s JSP217 makes up a further six, three of the cars will be Dallara P217s and the Riley Mk30 has one entry represented by Keating Motorsports.
