Sale of Manor Formula 1 team’s assets

Gordon Brothers, the global advisory, restructuring, and investment firm, has been instructed by the Joint Administrators, Geoff Rowley and Philip Armstrong of FRP Advisory LLP and the directors of Manor GP, to offer for sale the assets belonging to Manor GP and Just Racing Services, the operating company of the Manor Racing Formula 1 Team.

The team, based in Banbury Oxfordshire, raced in the last two seasons of the F1 World Championship. The available assets for sale provide a great opportunity for those involved in motorsport, whether professionals or amateurs, to purchase items for use, and presents a rare chance for enthusiasts to buy unique F1 memorabilia.

The assets will be offered for sale by a timed online auction over a four-day period in May 2017, and is expected to comprise of over 4000 lots. Items to be sold nclude 4 Manor Racing F1 shows cars, 1/6 size wind tunnel model, 5 F1 steering wheels, 3 tubs and over 100 wheel rims and tyres, nosecones, panels, engine covers andrear wings. Other items include pit lane equipment and pop-up trailers the team used as its operations centre at every Grand Prix.

Further to motorsport assets, there is a quantity of good quality engineering and inspection equipment, test rigs, engineering and inspection equipment and office furniture and equipment, including a range of servers, computers and associated peripherals for sale.

Viewing takes places on 9 and 10 May at Manor Racing, Unit 1, Chalker Way, Banbury, OX16 4XD. Bidding ends from 2.00pm on 16 May.
