While GE Healthcare is suppling innovative ventilator products like its CARESCAPE R860, there is still a huge need for ventilators that the motorsport industry is well placed to supply

‘Your NHS Needs You’, is the latest statement by Secretary for Health and Social Care, Matt Hancock. He is calling all medics to re-register and asking companies who are able to suspend their own manufacturing, to come forward to offer their services in a race to support the production and supply of ventilators and ventilator components.

We at RACE TECH magazine have since contacted The Rt Hon MP Matt Hancock to offer our services and are now contacting our entire database of motorsport suppliers and all those in our motorsport community with the request to urgently step forward to offer your services, whether it be for the UK NHS or your own governments who need them.

The UK government is looking for businesses who can support in the supply of ventilators and ventilator components across the UK as part of our response to COVID-19.

As well as manufacturers, there are looking for businesses with the following skills:

  • design/specification
  • rapid prototyping
  • contract/product assembly
  • certification/regulation/testing
  • logistics
  • medical training
