Motorsport, your world needs you!

20 March 2020
While GE Healthcare is suppling innovative ventilator products like its CARESCAPE R860, there is still a huge need for ventilators that the motorsport industry is well placed to supply

‘Your NHS Needs You’, is the latest statement by Secretary for Health and Social Care, Matt Hancock. He is calling all medics to re-register and asking companies who are able to suspend their own manufacturing, to come forward to offer their services in a race to support the production and supply of ventilators and ventilator components.

We at RACE TECH magazine have since contacted The Rt Hon MP Matt Hancock to offer our services and are now contacting our entire database of motorsport suppliers and all those in our motorsport community with the request to urgently step forward to offer your services, whether it be for the UK NHS or your own governments who need them.

The UK government is looking for businesses who can support in the supply of ventilators and ventilator components across the UK as part of our response to COVID-19.

As well as manufacturers, there are looking for businesses with the following skills:

  • design/specification
  • rapid prototyping
  • contract/product assembly
  • certification/regulation/testing
  • logistics
  • medical training

If you think your business can help, please register your details here.

Who better than the motorsport industry which is armed with the most innovative and talented engineers who are used to working to rapid response and tight deadlines with a can do/will do attitude.

Motorsport, the world needs you!

We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank those that we have already spoken to who are already a step ahead and working with the NHS as we speak.
